Long, long ago
In a world dark and cold
A night so still, winter’s chill
One bright star was shining
I saw the light in the darkness
It shines on love and tenderness
Brings out the hope that’s in all of us
May it shine its light on you this Christmas Night

so oxygen went on a date with potassium today…it went ok.
i thought oxygen was dating magnesium…omg
actually oxygen first asked nitrogen out, but nitrogen was all like “NO”
I thought oxygen had that double bond with the hydrogen twins

imagine if
after donna died
after her funeral
when everybody was getting ready to leave
a mysterious tall man with a funky bow-tie walked up to her grave and placed a bouquet of forget-me-nots and that was the most anybody ever saw of him
this is not okay
then he stops about three tombstones away from hers and salutes the tombstone of Wilf Noble

*cross sobbing* How can you dare to rip my fragile heart apart with this…
“But I never did anything important!”
Perhaps one of Donna’s biggest obstacles throughout her journeys with the Doctor was her struggle to accept her own importance. In this sense, her feelings can also be translated into the way many of us feel every day. However, Doctor Who manages to continuously remind us that our career choice, physical appearance, or socioeconomic status do not determine our self-worth. Doctor Who celebrates both our strengths and flaws, and tells us that just by being human, we are inherently capable of greatness.

Very, very rarely. But I do. Sometimes. Maybe.

I just watched the Phantom of the Opera and this is the best scene in the entire movie. Aww the song, the choreography… IT’S ALL SO FLAWLESS
Aand I’m gonna rewatch it tomorrow! This movie is just amazing and I would love to see the story live one day…
the only character to wake up normally ever
this is why i love billie
the only actor ever to wake up without perfect fucking hair
I was so smitten with Rose and the show when I first saw this. Yay for horrible bed hair! I mean, what show does this where it isn’t meant to be a joke?
AND SHE HAS SHIT ALL OVER HER ROOM BE STILL MY HEART
This is why I think Doctor Who’s changing too much for my liking.
This, what you see here, is real. People really do this. Normal people do this every day and we can relate to her here. Yeah, sure, she goes whizzing about time and space and all that jazz, but every morning, she wakes up, and her hair looks crap. Nobody made conversations consisting of snappy one-liners, the Doctor didn’t try too hard to impress people and people took time to realize that aliens exist and that you can indeed travel across time and space.I miss the little snippets of reality in Doctor Who. It really did set the show apart from any other sci-fi show like it.
^^^^ THIS
this is one of many reasons I miss RTD-era. I mean Moffat is great and a lot of my favourite episodes were written by him, but he’s pushing the show too fast. It looses some special little things. The stories are good, but I miss the depth of them.
Remember for example “New Earth” ? A sci-fi show asking a philosophical question? I had a long discusion with my sister about it. I hardly saw something like this in the new seasons….I MISS IT..
